Stalking the Prettiest of Pretties
I’m on my holidays in Donegal and up until about six hours ago the weather was gorgeous! The sun was beaming down from a cloudless sky and my lovely home was looking it’s loveliest. Now, you would think after that opener I would have a board inspired by the sea, but this is actually a swimming pool and cocktail inspiration boards. Still sun-drenched, just slightly tamer and perfect for a pampered princess (or prince!) who doesn’t want to go too formal.
Are you addicted to Ace of Cakes? Frustrated by the blank looks you get when you mention Choccy Woccy Doo Dah? Cakes are one of those things (actually, like many wedding things) that you either get or you don’t. I’m actually a fan of the plain and simple myself, but I can’t help but love cakes with wow factor. Monster Cakes certainly provide that:
I know – a day of the dead wedding cake – AWESOME!
What’s also awesome is that Monster Cakes have only been formed this year but they are already generating a huge buzz. They use only the finest ingredients, then use their fine-art skills to create these masterpieces.
The best thing is that if your like me and love quality simplicity, they can deliver that too:
I love these guys and can’t wait to see (and eat) some of their stuff in real life! They are based in Dublin but are willing to deliver anywhere, so now the rest of us mere Irish mortals can have fan-fricking-tastic cakes! Check them out on facebook and twitter.
**This is not a sponsored post. I am just genuinely excited by what these guys are doing and hope you like them too.**
As much as I love pretty shoes, sometimes they need a little bit of extra TLC and today I have just the thing for them.
These a-frickin-dorable hearts act as grips on the balls of your shoes and would look only gorgeous peeking out under your dress while kneeling at the alter.
And do you want to know the best part? Only Gorgeous Weddings is giving away a packet to a lucky reader! All you have to do is leave me a comment with what you want to see more of on the blog and you could be the lucky recipient. A packet contains four hearts (2 pairs) and normally retails at £6.25, so even if you don’t win, you can still get some pretty without breaking the bank.
